Overview

Welcome to Legba. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Legba website (legba.app), browser isolation plugin, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Legba, Inc. ("Legba," "we," "our," or "us") is a Delaware corporation headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. We provide tools that protect your online privacy by isolating browsing sessions in secure, temporary containers.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or use

Legba reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

Description of Service

Legba provides browser isolation technology designed to secure your browsing sessions and protect your local device from online threats. We route web content through isolated containers and stream the rendered output to your browser. These containers are temporary and are deleted after each session.

Legba is not a traditional VPN. Instead of tunneling traffic from your device, Legba executes browsing sessions inside isolated, disposable containers in our infrastructure and streams the visual output to your browser. Websites and third parties interact with the isolation environment, not your device. This masks your device IP and MAC address from the sites you visit and prevents code from executing on your machine. Legba provides secure browsing and network layer shielding for cybersecurity purposes and should not be used to violate laws or the terms of other services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or network
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the software
• Use the Services for malicious or fraudulent purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abuse, exploitation, or activity that threatens the integrity or security of the Services.

Subscription and Payment

Access to Legba may require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees in accordance with the plan selected at checkout.

Payments are processed securely by Kicbac, Inc., our payment processor. Legba does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, design elements, and materials within the Services are the exclusive property of Legba, Inc. and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or authorized business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services or related materials without prior written permission from Legba.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. Legba may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in conduct that damages or disrupts the Services
• Fail to pay subscription fees

Upon termination, your right to access the Services will cease immediately. Certain obligations, including limitations of liability and indemnification, will survive termination.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or that the Services will meet your requirements.

Legba expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legba and its officers, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Legba in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legba, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware or Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated version at legba.app/terms-of-service and update the Effective Date. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
